Hussein Al-Baiaty
Owner of The Printory

Hussein Al-Baiaty is local Beaverton business owner, and graduate of Portland State University’s School of Architecture. His passion for design and entrepreneurial spirit have allowed him to take printing t-shirts from a hobby to a thriving business. Since 2011, The Printory has grown to a full service garment design, screen printing, embroidery, and digital printing business. This platform has continuously allowed Hussein the opportunity to collaborate with schools, non-profits, and local business while developing his own artistic expression. In 2016, Refutees was launched as a needs based donation program, allowing new garments to be donated to local refugee families. The model of “printing with purpose” has been adopted as we maintain that every order from every customer contributes to this program. Hussein is serving on the Oregon Commission on Asian Pacific Islander Affairs, and volunteers his time to a variety of events and causes throughout the year.
